Andreas CAS #22 (A) Learning Outcome 1

 Andreas Cantu

This past week I spent some time really working on the art of golf. I have been slowly getting my swing to a point where I can comfortably play a round of golf with somewhat of a positive result. While this journey has certianly been a difficult one, I am very proud of the progress I have seen in myself on and off the course. The progress I have made in golf acts as a form of foundation for me and what I believe my capabilities are. Until very recently there was no way I could imagine myself playing golf at the level that I do now (though it's not an incredible level). It showed me that when I put my mind to a task and I promise myself that I will complete the task regardless of the challenges that it will bring up, I know I can do it. Golf has also been a form of meditation for me during times of stress. To be alone on either the course or the driving range, allows me to be alone with my thoughts and think about the future and the present. Golf really has been an excellent expierence for me and I truly hope that I never stop playing it.
