Andreas CAS #25 (S) Learning Outcome 4

About two weeks ago, my next-door neighbor asked me to take care of his two cats while he is away on vacation. Initially, I was skeptical about accepting this as I barely knew my neighbor and didn't want to go through his stuff in order to feed his cats and make sure everything is okay in the house. However, once I went over to talk to him about it I was convinced that it was the right thing to do; so I took the job. My first day as the cat-sitter was fairly simple, all I had to do was make sure there was food, water, and a clean litter box. Yet, I still found a way to make it wayyy more challenging. Upon arrival, I was unable to locate the second cat. I spent at least 20 minutes walking around the house looking for the cat and was beginning to get quite worried as it was absolutely nowhere to be found. But, as I took just a few seconds to look down at my phone and then looked up, the cat has suddenly appeared right in front of me. To this day, I still can't tell you where on earth the cat was, but the important thing is that I found it and I completed the job. I am very glad that I committed to this task, as I have now developed a much better relationship with neighbors I have lived next to for nearly 6 years.
